Hello. My name is Hanna Dymytrova-Kaihila. I am from Ukraine, Kyiv. But it so happened that fate brought me together with my husband from Finland. So now I live in Pertunmaa.
I became interested in photography in 2012 when I got to know a photographer from Ukraine. But it was more like a hobby – for many years I photographed only my dogs. Over time, dogs of different breeds came to my portfolio. At shows and in nature, from small blind puppies to adult dogs. So I started thinking about more professional photography. I got carried away with a home photo studio (after all, it is often very difficult to shoot outdoors in winter).
My main breed photo is the Rhodesian Ridgeback. But I have worked with different dogs – Pharaoh Hound, Dogo Argentino, Bracco Italiano, Irish Wolfhound…
I photograph different moments – from a puppy to an adult dog, from pregnancy to the moment of birth, home studio photos (I have everything for a studio in a house or apartment in my arsenal), outdoor photos (city and nature) at different times of the year, exterior photos, and etc.
My main camera is Nikon D7100. In the near future, I would like to buy a Nikon D850 camera – Nikon’s top camera.
My main lens is Nikkor 70-200 2.8 E. And most recently I got a Nikkor 24-70 2.8 E lens.
